Sustainability
WHAT IS SUSTAINABILITY?
Sustainability is a social goal for people to co-exist on Earth over a long time. In context of F1 in Schools, sustainability is a practice that all teams must imply for the preservation as well as protection oof the environment (environmental sustainability).
How to achieve?
“It is very easy to say, but difficult to implement”. To become a fully sustainable team, we adopted the following methodology:
REAL LIFE
Most importantly, sustainability needs to be achieved in real life, beyond the extent of F1 in Schools. Hence, we adopted various methods to save our one and only beloved planet.
PARTICIPATION
COLLABORATION
Found out companies/enterprises which could reuse our house waste as well as plastic.
Motto/Vision
In regionals, our execution in field of sustainability was limited. So, for Nationals, our team made diligent efforts to bring integration of environmental considerations into project planning, execution, and evaluation. The main objective was to encompass the principles of long-term viability, responsible resource management, responsive to change and positive societal impact. Embracing a culture of innovation and adaptation, we responded to evolving challenges and opportunities, driving ongoing improvement in sustainability practices and project performance.
Learnings
F1 in Schools has offered us a unique platform to imbibe sustainability in all our objectives by incorporating its principles to foster environmental awareness, encouraged innovation in eco-friendly design and manufacturing. With F1 in Schools, we have been able to realize the 5 Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse, Rethink) and imbibe these principles in our life. We have been practically able to live this and experience the satisfaction of contributing our part to this noble objective for betterment of future society.
